Mother Crawford assisted Pastor Hicks in countless ways—too many to name—but each was given with a willing heart and a spirit of thanksgiving. We are especially grateful for her steadfast support of the ministry of 20th Street Baptist Church and for the care she extended to Pastor Hicks after the passing of Mother Hicks.

I met Mother Crawford when I joined 20th Street Baptist Church and she welcomed me with open arms. I will miss her so much. Thank you Mother Crawford for loving me and not judging me. I know you are with your Lord And Savior I will never forget you Love Always, Edwina Gray.
