Celebration of Life…. "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7 Today, we gather in both sorrow and gratitude to celebrate the extraordinary life of Angeline Michelle Brown, lovingly known as Angie. Born on April 26, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Valerie L. (Brown) Watford and Alvin A. Brown (deceased), Angie entered the world as a radiant spirit—her laughter, excitement, and strength shone bright throughout her life. Angie's journey was characterized by her boundless love, unwavering force, and deep-rooted faith. Educated in the Philadelphia Public School System, she discovered a passion for the culinary arts, graduating from a Culinary Arts Institute. Later in life, her commitment to personal growth led her to pursue courses at the University of Phoenix. Angie was above all a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and professional. She was united in marriage to Eric Bunn, and together they welcomed her only son, Cire Jonte Bunn. The bond Angie shared with her son was incredible, built on unconditional love, unlimited support, and endless laughter. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Samir Bunn, age 11, and Xori Bunn, age 5. She cherished every moment spent cooking, dancing, drawing, and singing with them. Professionally, Angie thrived at Fox Rothschild in the Accounting and Invoicing department, where her infectious enthusiasm made a lasting impact on her colleagues. Her work ethic and loyalty to the company motivated her to remain a dedicated employee until her final days. Angie's relationship with God was the foundation of her life. Her spiritual journey culminated in her rededication to Christ and through baptism on November 17, 2024, at Faith City Family Church. This event provided her comfort during her battle with pancreatic cancer. Angie's unwavering faith gave her the strength and courage to face challenges with grace. Warmth and humor were Angie's trademarks. With her contagious laugh, quick wit, and love of old school R & B music, she effortlessly united those around her. Whether through funny voice impressions, offering her home as a sanctuary, or providing a listening ear, she filled every space with love, laughter, and the comfort of her homemade meals. During her illness, Angie was embraced by the unwavering support of her family and friends. She lovingly referred to her support network as her "Core Team," which included her devoted son, Cire, and her nephew, Isaac, who provided essential in-home caregiving. Her cousin, Lisa, along with her sister, Ceria, took on the task of coordinating her medical care and securing necessary resources, while her Aunt Jade oversaw her EMT care with great attention and cousin Walter provided spiritual encouragement and focus. Throughout this challenging journey, Angie found comfort in the presence of her cherished cat, Tiger Woo, whose loyal companionship offered solace during tough moments. Together, Angie and her Core Team not only navigated the difficulties of her illness but also shared heartfelt laughter, embodying the profound strength of family support in the face of adversity. Angie leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire everyone. She is survived by her son, Cire; her grandchildren, Samir and Xori; her mother, Valerie; her sister Ceria and brother-in-law James; her nephews, Isaac and Jace; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, stepsiblings, her cat, and close friends Eric, Anita, and Tshaka. Angeline Michelle Brown lived a life marked by resilience, strength, and faith. Her courageous battle with cancer has ended, and she has returned to God's eternal embrace. As we celebrate her today, let us carry her spirit in our hearts, embody her kindness in our actions, and celebrate her remarkable legacy in our life.
