Veronica "Cookie" Johnson was born on April 23rd, 1966 in Philadelphia PA. The third eldest of six children born to the late Shirley Marlene Johnson. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who passed away on Tuesday March 11th, 2025, at the age of 58, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Veronica "Cookie" Johnson was surrounded by loved ones during her final days. Family was everything to her and she fought hard to beat the odds. She was a devoted CNA for many decades taking care of the sick and elderly. Veronica "Cookie" Johnson did not have a church home but was Baptist and believed in God. She would often share bible scriptures and will preach to you if needed. She knew the word it was hidden in her heart. Veronica "Cookie" Johnson was known for her cooking skills. Every dish was made with love and care. She cooked for weddings, birthday parties and baby showers and her dishes were always the first to go. She was always the life of the party. Getting the grandkids to dance battle while yelling "this is what we do". She leaves behind her husband of 44 years Kenneth Johnson who she's been with since she was 15. There first child was Kenneth in 1982 followed by Micheal Derrell Monique Sabrina Christina late Christopher Dominique and they last child in 1993 Shamia. Her children by marriage were John Shawn and Angie. Her grandkids Tamara Kiyana Kenneth Jr Anya Allure Nikita, Ciyani, Liam Logan. Niyonna Jonae Johnathan jr Ny'Aja Journee, Trayvon Damarius,Dominque Yara Saveon Noah Avain Ember Cari, Great grands Autumn Marie and Kenneth the 3rd, 3 sisters Dawn Bonita Tamika and brother Troy.
