Obituary of Edmond Todd Fullman

Please share a memory of Edmond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edmond was born on August 28, 1967 to Raymond Fullman and the late Joyce (Foster) Fullman in Chicago, Illinois. Edmond was their first born and was blessed with a beautiful disposition and smile. He was, also, extremely comfortable around birds, dogs, cats, horses, snakes,--- all forms of animal life. As early as just 10 years old, Edmond showed a talent for helping injured birds work their way back to health (thru nourishing and feeding them). He would build tiny makeshift splints for their bruised or broken limbs. Edmond attended a quiet Quaker school (Greene Street Friends in Germantown) through sixth grade for his elementary education and later graduated from Cedarbrook Middle School (in Wyncote) before going to Cheltenham High for high school. Edmond was not overly religious, nor was he raised in the church, but he was honest, loyal and extremely kind. He was no pushover, though, and often defended himself and others from bullies. Edmond was a gifted athlete. He was the starting point guard for Cheltenham's Varsity Basketball Team, despite being only a junior. He ran in the Penn Relays at Franklin Field representing Cheltenham. He was written up in the local newspapers for his steady play as the " round mound of rebound" (The Intelligencer), comparing him to a young Charles Barkley. In his early 20's, Edmond began practicing martial arts with a concentration in Wing Chun. Edmond studied for over a decade and became one of the top competitors in the sport. Edmond had a lot of friends. He was respected and loved by many people from all walks of life. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Temple University in 1990 in Business Administration, and later he received a Master's Degree from Temple in Business for Strategic Management. Edmond was hired in 1995 by Fishbein Company (a CPA firm) to work in accounting. One of his clients was Steven Starr who owned several prominent restaurants in Center City Philadelphia such as Buddakan and Parc (and others). Edmond played golf at the prestigious "Philadelphia Cricket Club" at Hilton Head Island, in Florida, in Chicago, and in Hawaii. Edmond was close to his father Raymond, and they shared playing golf together on a weekly basis for nearly five years, after Raymond retired. Due to Edmond's accounting skills, Edmond did his father's federal and state tax returns for over twenty years. The most important pet in Edmond's life was his doberman pinscher "Apollo", who he loved and cared for over ten years. Edmond is survived by his father Raymond, his sister Tamara, his brother Kevin, his best friends Joe and Terry, his god brother Rich, his closest cousin Dante, his aunts Emma and Dorothy, his godmother Elsie, and a large host of other friends and family!
