I met "Mr. Gary", as I always greeted him, through his wife "Mrs. Jane" at Zion Baptist Church, which we are members. From the time I met him, you could feel the kindness, warmth and knew that he was truly a gentleman. He once told me to make good grits, "it's all in the stirring". I have been told, that God makes no mistakes, so I know Mr. Gary will still be serving the Lord from Heaven. My sincere condolences are expressed to Mrs. Jane and family. Be strong and we all know that Mr. Gary Miller will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace, Mr. Gary Miller. Marguerite Mapp and family. Zion Baptist Church.

We will always love Gary and will miss his spirit. He was a man who always remembered the path he travelled and the challenges he encountered but mostly the challenges our young men and women face in today's society. He considered himself to be blessed and obligated to help those that would face those challenges. Always genuine and willing to participate in fellowship. His laugh, always from the heart. His intentions, also genuine. Father you created us and you place a particularly beautiful spirit in Gary.

We met Gary Miller, through his wife, Jane, a good friend of ours and fellow members of Zion Baptist Church. I remember the last time I saw Gary, a trustee at a leadership meeting at Zion about six weeks ago. He teased me about how he and Jane were looking forward to going to my ‘surprise’ birthday party that I found out about accidently. We laughed about it for a while and I will not forget those moments because, as usual, it reminded me that he was always a genuine, kind, friendly & gentle person. Gary will be greatly missed. To Jane and family, you have our deepest and most sincere condolences. Peace, Love & Blessings, Cheryl & Warren McHenry

Uncle Gary was so kind and always had a smile. He lived his family and I felt that love whenever I saw him. As a little girl I knew when Uncle Gary visited it meant we were going to sit around and laugh and everyone would be happy. He could even be the bridge between family members that didn’t always get along. I really respected him for that. My family will miss you & your gentle spirit.

Hi My name is Dominique and I am Gary AKA poppops grand daughter I remember poppop taking my siblings and I to the big top circus annually. It was something that I always looked forward to even at 17 years old, I plan on continuing that tradition with my family In his honor. I will miss my grandpa forever but I know heaven is a place we’re we all will live eternally. My adult life is about to start and I will continue to excel and work hard because I know that he believes in me, and I can do anything through him.
