Charles William Jefferson was born June 2, 1942 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Charles was the youngest of three children born to the union of the late Earl and Lucretia Jefferson.
Charles passed away quietly on May 17th, 2024. He was preceded in death by his sister Frances and his Brother Earl jr.
Charles was educated in the Philadelphia School system, he attended and graduated from Bartram High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Army, after Two years of honorable service, he returned home and joined the Philadelphia Police Department. Not long after that he met the Love of his life Linda, affectionately he called her "YahFah". They enjoyed an amazing life together.
Charles was a great musician loved singing and movie night with his wife. He enjoyed Fishing with his buddies and his family loved his fish.
Charles' captivating smile and infectious laugh will always be in our memory.
Charles is survived by his wife Linda and his aunt Ethel Hendricks and a host of family and friends.
