How Do I Love You
How do I love you let me count the ways. I love you now and for the remainder of my days. I loved you in the beginning and I loved you to the end. I loved you as my mother. I loved you as a friend. I loved you from my first breath, I loved you until your last. I loved you when you called me. Often in the middle of the night. Call me now mommy. Call me please. I promise to answer as always, though it may bring me to my knees. I love you mommy. I Love you mommy and I miss you too. Miss your loving touch so much. Miss your words of wisdom too. Loved your wittiness. Loved your hugs, and your cooking, too. Loved the way I could sit and watch Sunday morning church service with you. Love listening to the gospel greats like Mahela Jackson and Richard Smallwood with you. Loved listening to your jazz and blues favorites too. I am so very thankful to God for the time he gave us to love you. I wanted to keep you a little longer. But know it would never have been enough. No matter how much I wanted to keep you here God knew what was best.
So, Heaven has another angel. Her name is Johnnie Lee. That may not mean much to some. But she meant the world to me. I'll love you always mommy. I'll miss you every day. I truly love you mommy more than words can ever say.
D’Adrea.

My Mom Mom
Today, I stand before you, not just to mourn the passing of a beautiful soul but to celebrate the extraordinary life of my great-grandmother, whom many of you fondly knew as Johnnie Lee Scott. My name is Elena, and Mom Mom was not just my great grandmother; she embodied the essence of love, nurturing, and sweetness in every aspect of her life. I’m so grateful to have had the profound privilege of that for 23 years, experiencing her warmth, her wisdom, and the immense love she had for all of us.
This woman who was the embodiment of love, warmth, and unmatched culinary skills ( if you came over for Christmas, you know what I’m talking about).
I can recall all the countless things she did, And the gentleness of her touch.
She had a talent for letting me know, That she loved me...and that I’m her favorite!
The impact she had upon not only my life, but everyone who loves her, will continue.
I loved you then, I love you now, and I will always will love you!I’m grateful for the years we’ve had together
it’s never goodbye, just see you later.
-Elena

Mother Johnnie has fought a good fight, and have finished her course, She kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give her at that day: and not to her only, but unto all them that love his appearing. 2 Tim 4:7-8. May God comfort the family during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences for Sister Janice Hill and her family. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrow a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on like a legancy of love that will always be with you and the family. May her love surround you now and bring you all peace. For those we love don't go away, they walk besides us everyday, unseen, unheard but always near in our hearts. So so very precious are Mother Memories. God bless you in Jesus name!
