Isaac White Obituary

Isaac White Jr. was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Isaac White Sr. and Bessie White on January 14, 1947. He was the youngest of two children, preceded in death by his sister, Janice Elizabeth White. Isaac graduated in 1965 from Thomas Edison High School where he was a member of the gymnastics team and studied tailoring. This inspired his passion for fashion and style. Later in his career, Isaac attended Penn State University receiving a certificate in Management & Public Speaking.

As a young man Isaac married Barbara Williams and had three children: Anthony, Manee and Marcel. Isaac enjoyed music, dancing and being a father. He taught Manee the "Philly Bop" when she was six, drove Anthony to DJ parties and attended all of Marcel's football games.

Isaac worked at Ford Motor Company for 17 years, advancing from technician to supervisor. He was the Sergent of Arms for UAW Local 338, traveling to local schools and educating students about labor rights. After his time at Ford, he began working in Pharmaceutical Sales and for Aetna Healthcare as a Licensed Insurance Representative where he later retired.

Uncle Butch, as he was called by his nieces and nephews, relished in retirement, often traveling to NYC for shopping trips and enjoying local buffets. He found pleasure in attending music concerts, sending family monthly reminders of upcoming birthdays & anniversaries, and thoughtfully mailed cards to loved ones.

On September 28, 2024 at the age of 77 Isaac peacefully transitioned, leaving the following to celebrate his life and memory: wife; Barbara White; beloved children; Anthony, Manee (Guy) and Marcel (Alicia); loving grandchildren; Anita (Shalina), Turquoise (Georgio), Jade (Stefan), Dorian, Jasmine, Daniel, Dyshae, Kasey, and Dylan; four great-grandchildren; Peyton, Parker, Malia, Alexis; sister-in- law Gloria Williams; a host of nieces & nephews, other relatives, friends and his best cousin Sylvester.
