James Scott "Scottie" White's Obituary
James Scott "Scottie" White born to James and Bernadette White on November 19,1977 at 2:30 PM at Nazareth Catholic Hospital of Philadelphia. "Our only beautiful, and beloved son "MY BABY".Scottie was always a character in life from the very beginning.Scottie was fun, loving and genuine. Scottie attended Saint Francis of Assisi Elementary school, he attended Saint Elizabeth's, and our Lady of Hope middle school. Scottie graduated from Cardinal Dougherty Catholic High School. Scottie also attended Community College of Philadelphia for a short period of time. Whilst Scottie decided that College wasn't for him, he wanted to experience life as most young people do with his fast car, a brand new Camaro, and of course the girls. Scottie had a passion for writing poetry, and he wrote beautiful poems. He was a family person, and loved his family, and loved being around them. Scottie could light up a room, and put a smile on anyone's face. Scottie loved his dad, they had a close
relationship. Scottie always thought his mother was too bossy, but no doubt, he loved her as well. Scottie's children all had a special place in his heart, Scottie's grandchildren were the spark and joy's of his life.
The relationship between him and his son Semaj was a bond to be unbroken. Scottie'sgirls were the delight of his heart. Scottie worked several jobs, which included Blackberry Inc, and Sprint as an Assistant
Manager. He later worked at Friends Hospital as an Insurance Coder. Scottie recently decided he wanted to work with senior citizens because he was a people person. He then worked as a Patient Representative for the rights and services for seniors at Oak Street Health. Scottie is survived by parents, James and Bernadette White, his beloved sister, Carla White and niece Jahcare White. His children, Donya' Porter, Semaj White, and Akira
Webster. His grandchildren, Semaj's children are Semaj S.White, and Calian J.Tyson, Donya's
children JaSyi McCorey, and Jennah McCorey. Scottie's partner of 14 years Tracey Patterson.
