Diane Elizabeth Goettner May-26-1951, 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Apr-08-

2023.

Diane loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to read. Diane

loved trivia games, crossword puzzles and playing scrabble. She loved music and going to

concerts.

Diane adored animals, rescuing many cats and dogs. Diane had a special place in her heart

for the elderly, she made it possible for them to stay in their homes, by helping them with daily

chores; and, also, cared for the elderly in nursing homes.

Diane was very involved in local politics, she was a member of the Lansdowne Democratic

Committee, volunteering time by helping people get registered to vote, disseminating The

Lansdowne Leader, and volunteering to poll watch.

She is survived by her husband, James McHugh, her daughters Jennifer Goettner and

Kathryn Gillen (Kareem Garrett), her grandsons, Antonio, Lorenzo and Emilio, her sisters

Laurie Pendrak, and Patty Goettner (Jim Allen) and her brother Max Goettner (Sheila

Goettner), along with many nieces and nephews.
